notice how the kuz era allowed gore, allowed shock material, yet the 'logs were still mostly IAS and largely devoid of bait. kuz and his jannies would delete random shit that made the site worse or made the userbase leak. that's how the site once upheld a level of "quality" despite being always being autist spammer shitpost niggerhell. doll did the same, probably because he had the same jannies and a similar mindset to kuz. back then they treated faggot bait and the likes as literal tyranny against the site, they (along with the userbase) thought it was either a CIA psyop or literally tranny grooming discords behind it so they had little tolerance for it.
then froot fired all the kuz jannies, gave clear guidelines of "rulecuck this, don't rulecuck this", and coincidentally the site went to shit. you can't passively and fairly moderate a site like this, you need to be an autistic dictator that sits on the site 24/7 deleting shit that doesn't align with the culture, or you need the jannies to do that for you, lest the site become actual unusable shit. in this case, the site's current culture has grown cancerous due to years of mismanagement, and no longer aligns at all with what it was pre-froot, which I think does explain why salt isn't just telling jannies "yeah delete the gay shit that doesn't align with the culture, you know what I mean" since half of the retard HTSMs on this site legit think boorutranny soytan porn is shardee culshur but gore is heckin' fooodist, but I think the only proper solution to that is just to not be an absentee admin. salt isn't really able to do that, he has an actual life, so instead he's leaving it up to the leftover quotecord jannies (who actively want fag shit and goonbait on the site and also think his de-rulecucking is too far) and that's become a problem.
it's still early in salt's reign so this shit could be fixed eventually, but rn the site is basically just the chinny without the CP jokes, and all the chinny has going for it is pedo jokes and tranny porn so that isn't quite ideal.
