If you've been on the internet for awhile now, you may have noticed the slang "Slop" appearing on various social media apps like TikTok and Twitter/X. It usually stands for low-quality content, mostly AI-generated content. If your more chronically online, you also may have also heard about the hate-train around "Silly Cars Humor", which is basically more corny or cringe ways of expressing yourself, such as using deliberately cringey or childlike language, like "I'm eepy" instead of "I'm sleepy". People who have this "humor" are mostly in communities like Glitch Productions, Cookie Run: Kingdom, Dandy's World, Battle For Dream Island, and Roblox-related communities. Now you may ask me, "Why have I gave you these two meanings?", it revolves around a unusual rabbit-hole on TikTok that leads to a full blown murderer.

Let me tell you about the user 'mateo_the_slop_ruiner'.

Mateo's profile is all about hating these types of people that have 'Silly Cars Humor', making hateful meme videos constantly calling them corny. His profile picture had Napoleon and some anime girl. One of these videos I'll be using as an example was a 15 second 'GifTok' video; the video shows a gif of streamer IShowSpeed crashing out, with white text above saying "when ur in class with only 3 hours of sleep and ur classmate with silly cars humor keeps yapping about some 'release the gubbies' so you lowk crashout 🫩🥀".

Sure, that's not even harmful, right? He only had a small following of 300 and he only really gained around 1,000 views at most. The rest of his videos were basically just the same format, except for one video, which was plugging his YouTube channel. This YouTube channel is important for my investigation.

His YouTube channel was the same name as his TikTok, only around 19 subscribers, with his profile picture having the character Mai Sakurajima from the anime "Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai" in it. His videos consisted of YouTube Shorts that were reuploads of his TikTok content. He only had one community post.

The community post was a link to a video on the Internet Archive, its title reading "why i hate slop.", in lowercase. The video was around 14 minutes - weird for a person who only uploaded 15 second videos. The default thumbnail was his Roblox avatar, the background was the blank baseplate that you're given on Roblox Studio, and a light brown box was in front of the character, which is supposed to represent a table.

The video starts with an animation of his Roblox avatar walking to the table, sitting down on a grey block that represents a chair. It was surprisingly well-animated and smooth. The character rests on the chair and puts its blocky hands down on the table. Suddenly a voice-over is heard, though the avatars face didn't move.

"Let me tell you why I hate "silly cars humor" people.", He said in a hoarse, shaky, male voice, with a slight hint of an Irish accent.

"The reason I hate it.. Is..", He stops for a minute, thinking on what to say.

"… Is because of how annoying they are. Every time I see a GLIMPSE of their eye-bleeding colorful avatars whenever I play Roblox, my blood boils with rage. Their stupid faces, their stupid Forsaken cosplays, their stupid noob avatars, it's all annoying, it's like a sin to me. Don't even get me mother-fucking STARTED on how they are in the human flesh. They have their bags FLOODED with pins of their stupid fandoms, they dress as if they raided a Hot Topic with their shitty polyester Gir hoodies, their stupid love for that Gubby thing. Oh, Gubby. The absolute thing that these people meatride. The ugly Roblox bunny abomination. I swear to god, if that gubby thing was real, I'd stab that fucking rabbit to bits in front of them, including that stupid 'durr' thing. So that's why I created this account, to make them all stop. I don't get any views because they're trying to silence me. My comments are flooded with their stupid reaction images of their fandoms, talking about some dumbass 'Fun Police', as if we're 5 year olds. We're not, we're gonna be full grown adults soon enough and you've got the same interests you had when you were 10. Grow up. You're nearly 16, and you still play those stupid games like Regretevator or watch those immature object shows. Seriously, grow up and be more mature, and stop acting like an annoying bitch with your actions. How embarrassing."

After the rant, his avatar slowly stood up.

"Do you really wanna know what I do to them? I'll show you."

The screen goes black for a second, and instead of a Roblox animation, it's a real life video. The quality was as if it was recorded on an old camcorder and the whole atmosphere had a yellow piss tint to it.

There were 4 objects on a table in Mateo's room; an official Makeship Forsaken plushie of the character 'Chance', two pieces of black and pink kandi bracelets, another plushie of the Battle For Dream Island character 'Two', and lastly, a black Vans bag, with pins of various fandoms like Object Shows, Forsaken, Regretevator, Dandy's World, Cookie Run and some Gubby and Epic Face pins.

The room the items were in looked messy, as if it came out of an episode of Hoarders. There were some anime, Call of Duty, and Eminem posters on the wall; a large Ireland flag; a couple of figurines of some anime girls (who didn't really have many clothes on them); and a messy bed littered with pillows, worn clothes, blankets, and some trash. The walls looked peeled and destroyed. The items on the table looked out of place in a room like this, which hinted that they didn't belong to Mateo, but someone else.

Then Mateo comes into the scene, a tall, skinny, pale-skinned man. His face was edited to have a photo of Mai Sakurajima instead, just like his profile picture. He had ginger colored greasy hair that was quite long. He wore an unkempt, dirty, white t-shirt that had an anime girl on it and some black sweatpants.

"I'll show you.", Mateo spoke, before grabbing the Chance plushie and ripping it in half with his bare hands, the sounds of the tough fabric tearing as fluff flied everywhere. It was an unexpected sight to see. After he ripped the poor plushie in half he set it down before moving onto the next item, the plastic kandi bracelets. Mateo grabbed a pair of scissors out of his pocket and cut the bracelets, making the beads spills out everywhere. Mateo set the single string that was left of the bracelet back down.

He then grabbed the Two plushie and brought out a knife from the same pocket. He began stabbing the plushie manically, taking all his anger out on it, fluff flying everywhere just like the Chance plushie. He even thunder-punted the poor thing across his room with all his force, the plushie comically hitting the Eminem poster and sliding down quickly. He retrieved it, calmly put it down next to the other destroyed items, and eyed the last object.

The bag.

Mateo unzipped the bag, dumping out all the contents, which was just crumbled up paper that seemed to have drawings on them. He then sets the bag down after emptying it, before ripping out the pins one by one until there were no more left, even breaking some. He then grabs the knife from earlier and sticks it in the bag, as it had no more pins on it.

Mateo heavily breathed, "You really think I was done? Oh, no.. Oh, no, no, no, no. I'm not done. We still have one more attraction." After he said this, he grabbed the camera. He went downstairs; you can see that he was shaking a bit. He was now in the living room, a football game blaring on the television.

We saw Mateo's dad for the first time, a white (but had some sunburn marks on him), slightly overweight, bald man, wearing a white stretched tank top and blue jean shorts. He was slumped on the couch, a Diet Coke in his hand, his eyes fixating on the football game. "Basement again?", his father grumbled. He had a mix of a Northern Irish and New York accent. "Yeah", Mateo nodded before moving past him.

He went into the kitchen, where we could even see a glimpse of Mateo's mother and sister. His mother was tall and had ginger hair just like him, and she was wearing a green knitted sweater and a long blue skirt. She was washing the dishes and had her back turned to the camera. Mateo's sister was roughly in her teens, a Latina with black hair and heavy amounts of makeup. She wore a white PowerPuff girls crop top with faded baggy jeans. She was on her phone. "Where are you going, Mateo?", The mother kindly asked. "Basement", Mateo replied as he rushed down.

While he was rushing down you could hear a faint question by his sister, "Ugh, why is he always going down there all of a sudden?", before Mateo shuts the basement door and locks it.

He was now in the basement. It was dark and the ground looked moist. "You wanted to see, so, here you go. This is what I really do." Mateo then slowly moved the camera up.

We then see a girl around Mateo's age, a teenager. She had long brown hair, an Invader Zim Gir zip hoodie, a Forsaken shirt, fingerless gloves, baggy jeans and Coverse shoes. There were puddles of blood and vital organs splattered on the walls, herself, and the floor, indicating a massive scalp laceration happened, which also hints that her head was bashed into the wall, most likely by Mateo. Her eyes were rolled up to her head, no sign of life in her body language.

"I did you a favour, I saw the scars littered on your arms, how annoying you were, the childish interests you had, you were just asking to be deleted from this world. Who knows, you might be 'Forsakened' as they always say, maybe you'll meet the characters you thirsted over in the afterlife, hopefully in hell. Those belongings? Yeah, I destroyed them, you didn't need them anyways. You just want to hide your insecurities with brightness and cringe. You immature freak.", Mateo then spat on her before ending the recording.

The video wasn't over yet: to rub more salt on the wound, another animation section happened.

This animation was Mateo's avatar beating up the character Party Noob from Regretevator. Party Noob was most likely representing the girl, due to a part where Mateo slams Party Noob into the wall and aggressively smashes their head into a wall, black paint representing blood flying out, which must've caused the scalp laceration.

The video ended after that.

I don't know where Mateo is now, but from what I've seen, he must've had a strong hatred towards 'Silly Cars' people, so he takes his anger out on a person he knows that applies to the stereotype.

Whoever the girl was in the video, I'm deeply sorry you had to lost your life to someone like Mateo, you were only trying too express your interests. Hopefully Mateo gets arrested soon.
