Sometimes I join my NT friends when they laugh at NDs that can't mask, but there is this unsettling thought in the back of my head that if I wouldnt mask, i'd probably be treated the same or even worse. I'd probably bully my younger non-masked self if it meant keeping my NT larp status

I relate to this a lot. I used to laugh at autistic people online until I realized I was autistic myself (didn't know this until I was 12). I'm a lot less insecure now so I don't really care anymore.
