January 3 — The Sharty comes back from its annual New Year's outage. Nobody knows who turned it off.
January 7 — A new jan named Admin appears. Nobody can determine whether Admin is an actual person.
January 12 — The Great Namefield Crisis begins after somebody discovers that namefags can change their names.
January 19 — SoyBooru introduces a new reaction system. It is removed 11 minutes later after a 400-post argument about the meaning of the 👍 emoji.
January 31 — An ancient 2022 thread receives its first reply in four years. Historians declare this a Necrobump Renaissance.
February
February 4 — Quote's whereabouts become the subject of intense speculation after he is allegedly spotted online.
February 9 — A mysterious user named SoyjakWikiOfficial begins editing pages. The account is banned after three edits.
February 14 — Valentine's Day causes an unprecedented 37-minute period during which /soy/ contains almost no soyjaks.
February 21 — The Second Great Thread Purge occurs. 8,000 threads are deleted because nobody can remember why they existed.
February 28 — Somebody uploads the entire SoyBooru database as a 14 GB ZIP file titled .
March
March 5 — The Wiki celebrates its sixth anniversary. Someone edits the anniversary page to say it is actually the fifth anniversary again.
March 11 — A new soyjak variant becomes popular for approximately 36 hours before everyone agrees it was never funny.
March 17 — St. Patrick's Soyocaust begins after green soyjaks flood /soy/.
March 23 — The Wiki's bureaucrat group is finally restored. It immediately becomes vacant again.
March 31 — A massive April Fools prank accidentally becomes permanent.
April
April 1 — Soyjak.party announces it has been acquired by a mysterious corporation called Soy Holdings International LLC.
April 2 — The announcement is revealed to have been real.
April 4 — Nobody can find the corporation's website.
April 9 — The corporation announces a “premium soyjak experience.”
April 10 — The premium soyjak experience is shut down after users discover it costs $0.
April 18 — The Great Emoticon War begins: :) vs :).
April 30 — Both sides declare victory.
May
May 6 — Nuuru goes down.
May 7 — SoyBooru goes down.
May 8 — The Wiki goes down.
May 9 — Everyone assumes the Sharty is next.
May 10 — The Sharty remains online.
May 11 — Users begin calling this The Four-Day Internet.
May 25 — Nuuru returns with no explanation and a completely different favicon.

June 2 — A previously unknown 2024 admin account logs in for the first time in two years and immediately resigns.
June 8 — The Admincaust II begins.
June 9 — Three administrators are demoted.
June 10 — Two administrators are promoted.
June 11 — Everyone involved denies anything happened.
June 20 — A 9,000-post thread is created to discuss what happened.
June 21 — The thread is deleted.

July 4 — The Sharty experiences its longest outage yet.
July 5 — A backup from 2023 is accidentally restored.
July 6 — Users discover that this somehow fixes several bugs.
July 7 — The Great Regression officially begins.
July 14 — The site's code is rewritten entirely in PHP 5.
July 15 — Nobody notices.
July 30 — A mysterious message appears on the homepage:
“WE ARE SO BACK.”
August
August 5 — One year after the 2026 outage, users commemorate the event by intentionally taking the site offline.
August 6 — They forget how to turn it back on.
August 7 — SoyBooru becomes the largest website in the Soysphere by virtue of being the only one still functioning.
August 13 — The Wiki is hacked again.
August 14 — The hackers replace every article with the same image.
August 15 — The image becomes the new Main Page.
August 21 — Someone discovers the hackers were actually Wiki editors testing a new skin.
September
September 1 — DeathJak 2027 begins.
September 2 — The tournament is delayed because nobody knows who is supposed to host it.
September 3 — A substitute tournament is held in a random thread.
September 10 — The substitute tournament receives more viewers than the official one.
September 19 — The Third Great Handover occurs.
September 20 — Nobody knows who handed anything over to whom.
October
October 3 — Soyjak.party announces that it will shut down “soon.”
October 4 — Users begin archiving everything.
October 5 — The site announces it will not shut down.
October 6 — The announcement is deleted.
