Theres this guy irl i kind of wanna befriend but whenever we hang out in a group, I don't really know how to talk to him. I can't tell if he finds me unlikeable or there's just some kind of an introvert barrier between us. Sometimes one of us makes a joke or smth but then we go quiet awkwardly and it never turns into a meaningful convo. I can say something funny and he just goes "Haha yeah" and vice versa. Sometimes I feel that he's being rude to me but other times he's chill so im giving him the benefit of the doubt

I don't have this issue with anyone else I know really
