Empathy. It means you care! Mirror neurons transfer the scene to your own internal simulation of yourself. If you're really empathetic you also transfer your assessment of what their loved ones would be feeling to your internal simulation at the same time. You are normal and healthy, and you should not try to break this stimulus-response. Psychopaths have a cerebral idea that it's wrong, but nothing visceral is felt like it's felt to you.
