the same thing happened when quote unbanned nas on /soy/ or when salt unbanned gore. i feel like too many people see the first days of these changes and believe that the 'log will be just as chaotic after a couple of weeks or months in the future. it's why being patient and trvsting the plqn is a good mindset to have

in the case of the kolyma april fools event, this sentiment combined with kuz-era rules led to people immediately spamming 'lita and gay porn to where it was 1 in every 6 threads, when it was more like 1 in every 70 threads during the real kuz era. after all they only had 1 day to post it and it was gonna make the nusois leak
