I once considered writing fan fiction about Nate and Chud shooting up the amazing digital circus.

Generally science fiction and similar. I do a lot of worldbuilding with no plot geg. For example:

The Carl W Irvington-christened as the MV General Magaña at the time of her launch-was laid down in March of the year 2103 at the Tesistan Shipyard just outside of Guadalajara, operated by the Corporación Aeroespacial Estatal de México or CAEM. A member of the HTLM-or Helium Tanker, Light-Medium-class, she measured 570 feet, or 190 meters, bow to stern, with a 50 foot long superstructure in the center, with 16 30 foot tanks, 8 on each side of the central truss, extending both forward and backward from the superstructure, for a total of 32 tanks. The tanks were connected by piping but also had airtight electric shutoff valves between them, and each had their own connection joint for loading and unloading. This permitted unloading and loading as fast or slow as a given port was able to pump in or suck out the Helium-3, with the ability to purge or fill all tanks at once using multiple portside pumps, or gradually using a single pump. When the ship was underway, the crew was required to seal the valves connecting the tanks, in order to prevent a total cargo loss in case one tank was breached in an asteroid strike or collision with another vessel. She was equipped as built with two Model 24-B tachyonic engines, built by VEB Dresden Turbinen-Motorwerke of the German Democratic Republic. Fuel cells were located at the rear of the superstructure, loaded via a hatch on the roof de person cabins, and was also equipped with a two staterooms-one for use by the captain, and one for use by Mexican officials traveling to Venus and back. The HTLM class was designed to be able to operate between Earth and Venus, where they would be filled with Helium-3, to then return to Earth, specifically Mexico. Mexican corporations and government projects that required Helium-3 had previously largely purchased it from American brokers who in turn had it shipped to large terminals by larger private freighters. The HTLM class, as a government project, had the primary objective of lowering the cost of Helium-3 in Mexico by running a fleet of lighter freighters directly to terminals in major Mexican cities, where it could then be sold at a price equivalent to the expense of shipping it in to Mexican companies. The General Magaña was launched in February of 2104, and for 22 years she and her sisters were relatively affective at that goal. However, with Mexico’s entry into COMECON in 2125, the use of the HTLM class, or at least some vessels, began to be debated, as Helium-3 was now available for prices nearly as good from the USSR. Thus, the Mexican government decided to downsize their fleet, selling 11 vessels, including the General Magaña. 6 of these were purchased by the Chicago Interstellar Fleet Company, a subsidiary of Chicago Mutual Insurance, the Magaña among them. She was flown to a shipyard in California to be rebuilt, with new, more powerful General Dynamics engines replacing the East German ones, and the staterooms being removed and the superstructure’s interior being reconstructed in order to accommodate additional fuel cell storage for longer trips. She was rechristened the Carl W Irvington after a late Chicago Mutual executive, and in June of 2127 departed for Venus, where she was due to begin her second career, still carrying Helium-3 but now to the Centauri system.
