the last successful nuvariant was (unfortunately) syndromejak because it was posted offsite and filled in a niche that the offsiters didn't have (that being the smug "reddit mod" looking soyjak since they've never seen a smug soyak before).
if you want to make a successful nuvariant, fill a niche that wasn't filled up yet, make it not an extremely obscure snca niche, and either force the shit out of it or have it naturally develop interest from shit like raids.
it's why there will never be a "cobson killer" because cobson already filled in a niche that other variants didn't
