I was extremely giddy when I finally let God into my heart. But now I feel nothing at all about it. I think this was always going to happen to me; I just didn't want to see it. I don't want anyone to make a big deal about it. Because I feel like this is who I was always supposed to be. I'm merely assimilating into the role that was constructed for me before I was born. Now that God is in my heart, all the petty, insignificant things I worried about beforehand seem so little. I simultaneously lack purpose and have all the purpose I need. I think christGODs have done a bad job portraying what being a believer is like. Atheists receive this notion that if they believe in God, they're becoming a slave bound to strict moral axioms, when that's not the case at all. I actually feel more free than when I didn't believe. If you don't have God, you'll replace Him with something else, something worse. We all desperately need some sort of god in our lives, and that's okay.
