I have some kind of issue where when my friends ignore me for a while I begin to want to cut them all off and start a new identity because it drives me insane. Also I can’t prove that they like me or not. What is this? How do I stop it?

I felt this way years ago. Ended up cutting off all my friends and deleted my online identity. They weren't great friends so I don't regret it, but I do wonder if I could've made a better choice.
