Take my phone for example, there's no signal in the 1500s, the Suleiman would've just killed me for holding a useless piece of plastic. Plus it's not like I can teach them basic electronics, a lot of that is already discovered.
Anything I cannot physically hold will just get me killed, I am quite literally less than nothing. For me to go back in time would be to do nothing but to live there, I cannot change history in a substantial matter.
Then I realized just how useless people today actually are, we have barely advanced since the early-agricultural age. We're no different than cavemen yelling at clouds, praying to cum and hunting sheep.
Anyone else have this thought?
