kuzism and saltism are really different and people who claim they're the same dont notice key details
kuz didn't care about the site much further than owning it. he wanted to integrate it with his kolyma network and as a result loosened up the rules on the sharty so users on other imageboarda he owned would find it easier to post on the sharty & vice versa.
salt doesn't have any kolyma network, he didn't loosen up the rules to integrate the sharty into a nu kolyma. arguably at the same time it makes it harder for outsiders to integrate considering the rapid renormalization of gore here
while both kuz and salt unrulecucked the site, it was for drastically different reasons

Bro what are you talking about none of this is accurate. Kuz didn't unrulecuck the sharty, in fact it was usually the opposite. In late soot era you could freely post 'p during many hours of the day cause there were barely any jannies. Or just spam the log with whatever garbage you want. The site definitely had more rules in kuz era even if you were still pretty free to post whatever.

Also I disagree about him not caring about the site. With all his flaws he was definitely deeply invested in all the sites he owned and wanted to grow/preserve each site's different culture. In fact that's also why you're wrong about the kolyma integration thing, it was the opposite. He wanted each site to remain separate. That's why he added rules like banning soyspeak on heyuri, but also (usually) banned loli porn posting on the sharty cause that was against sharty culture even if it was allowed on heyuri. Of course he was sometimes inconsistent like how he posted loli here himself but that's just cause he was a schizo.
