>>17350526>You are the nationAnd your nation is supposed be a gatekept homogenous society with strong national identity under facism, not whatever this is
>You do it under the nation's rulesThe problem isn't just the rules, but how they are enforced. Instead of having a strong command with strict overview of all the content, imageboards traditionally offloaded the work to community to push down low quality content naturally. This is much more in line with the community-oriented leftist thinking then nation-oriented fascism thinking.
>This was common under fascismFascism came out of leftism as a third way against class based revolution and capitalist status quo, in place of nation based revolution. It's naturally going to have similarities like this, but the difference is that fascist states do not fear from strictly moderating the social order with authority whereas contemporary leftists engage in "gift economy" delusions and rely more on collaborative work just like here.
>Flawed government>Regime changes are a big dealNeoliberal and liberal democracy countries go through countless re-elections and abaolutely nothing changes, albeit yeah this is not exclusive to leftists only so you have a point here.
I'd argue traditional forums are more inline with what chuds believe in. They have ranking systems but the community is still at the front. There are accounts and nicknames, but its still easy to stay anonymous if you know what you are doing. Gatekeeping is much easier and janitors even often lock down threads if they are necroed unnecessarily. Effortposting is much more encouraged and is rewarded through permanent post history and interactions. People can know you for what you make, but everyone knows the website for the entire community before any particular individual. For this reason, a lot of boomer forums have managed to stay relatively the same for decades and still keep going.
