I would read the Gospels and try to pray, try to feel how much God loves you and try to understand you should love your family just as much as He loves you.
Your family gave you every gene in your body, your roof over your head, your food, your belongings, your name and they have loved you for years. Why would you not care about them? Why would you not love them?
We all make mistakes or have bad judgement sometimes but you need to understand your family made you and deserves your love. The opposite of love is violence. Your family deserves love. How could the people who loved and raised you even though they were imperfect deserve violence or hate?
