Considering the best part of the hand is the fingers, wearing fingerless gloves is perfectly fine, and can actually highlight the nails, especially if those nails are colorful compared to a dull glove.
Cotton gloves of course are the best, when you can see the squared patterns across the glove, it's actually really beautiful.
Of course, even fingered gloves can be cute, assuming the tips are either cut off or if the nails are sharp enough to pierce them. The way I see it is, if you can use a phone whilst wearing it, it's perfectly okay, otherwise it's not.
