All known physical copies of Shit Nophono Cares About are to be considered SCP-XXXX instances and are to be confiscated immediately. Under no circumstances is unauthorized Foundation personnel to open, read, photograph, scan, digitize, quote, or otherwise reproduce the contents of an instance.
Recovered copies are to be transported in sealed, opaque archival containers to Site-██, where they are to be stored individually inside a reinforced containment vault. The vault is to remain under continuous video surveillance. Personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX containment are prohibited from discussing the book's contents except through approved Foundation documentation.
The Foundation's information-security division is to maintain continuous monitoring of imageboards, alternative social-media communities, file-sharing services, torrent indexes, text repositories, and other locations where SCP-XXXX-related material could plausibly appear. Particular attention is to be given to 4chan, soyjak.party, and successor or mirror communities where users may attempt to circulate scans, photographs, memes, excerpts, or purported "summaries" of the book.
MTF Glowies has primary responsibility for SCP-XXXX digital suppression. When a digital reference to Shit Nophono Cares About is identified, MTF Glowies is to:
Determine whether the material constitutes a genuine SCP-XXXX instance or a derivative.
Remove or quarantine the material through Foundation-controlled means.
Identify and contain any physical copies associated with its distribution.
Scrub cached, mirrored, archived, or reposted copies where feasible.
Monitor the originating community for evidence that additional copies have appeared.
Foundation personnel are not to open suspicious files solely to determine whether they contain SCP-XXXX. Automated systems are to be used whenever possible.
Particular attention is to be paid to statements claiming that the book is "fake," "just a meme," or "safe if you don't finish it." These statements have repeatedly preceded the discovery of genuine instances.
Any proposed experiment involving SCP-XXXX must receive written authorization from Dr. Cobson. No experiment may proceed on the assumption that an incomplete reading is harmless.
