It uses the plot of a tv show within the movie to make an allegory towards being a tranny. The show is called The Pink Opaque and its like some generic 90s crime fighting duo slop, but the main character discovers he's actually one of the characters in the show, and its heavily implied the show is actually real. The supporting character, who introduces the show to him, tries to convince him of this, but he ultimately refuses to accept it and tries to live his life as he did before, but ultimately ends up breaking at end. It's incredibly allegory heavy
