plus playing both doesn't really yield double the benefit, chess and weiqi overlap but chess is international and getting competent so you can finally work your mind super hard doesn't have such a prerequisite as does weiqi where you're fumbling around, with chess I can do zillions of lichess puzzles and engage in a long matcherino with lichess's stockfisherino (climbing the ladder stockfish levels 1-8)
