How do I actually make a tulpa? Every now and again somephono asks this, but the responses are never genuine. I already spend most of my time talking to myself, why can't I manifest that into a separate entity within my consciousness?

I was considering this before too but then I decided it wasn't worth it because the pleasure I would gain from having a "conscious" imaginary friend would not outweigh the potential detriment of me getting tired of them or them turning on me and having to deal with all of that stuff. You could try talking to a chatbot but that feels soulless and sterile from my experience
