>So I'm used to TERFS using terms like HSTS and AGP but when trans women start to categorize trans women into these categories it's even worse.

>I mentioned online to a trans woman that my dysphoria is much less now because I see an attractive woman in the mirror and that my dysphoria got even more manageable once I had a vagina.

>Another trans woman chimes in, asks at what age I transitioned and which sex I'm into.

>I mention that I'm 28, started HRT at 25 and 9 months, had SRS a bit over a year later, was into women before transitioning but was secretely bisexual even back then and that after transition my attraction shifted completely to a point where I'm now only into men.

>She asks if I pass, I show her a picture, she tells me I look super pretty and feminine but then gives me an unasked analysis:

>That according to her I am an overlap of AGP and HSTS and that I'm simultaneously both of these.

>That according to her I feel attraction to men competing with attraction to oneself as a woman

>That I'm very feminine because some AGP share the same background as HSTS.

>That the fact that I'm happy with my vagina indicates autoeroticism.

>That the fact that I find myself attractive indicates autoeroticism.

>That the fact that I have a thriving career indicates an AGP transsexual personality because HSTS are usually low IQ

>Senseless stuff like this is spouted at me by her for at least 2 hours of back and forth messaging until I tell her to get over her internalized transphobia and then I blocked her.

>She was so obsessed with fitting every trans woman in a Blanchardian frame that she forgot that Blanchard's theories are easily debunked:

>People who were bisexual were completely ignored by his theories, as well as asexual people.

>Blanchard never mentioned by him called "HSTS" who transitioned late in life and by him called "AGP" who transitioned young in life. He had this stereotypical view that one category transitioned young and the other late.

>Blanchard's theories are heavily biased because his co-worker Bailey slept with study subjects. They did not have a neutral viewpoint.

>His theories were based on hearsay, tunnel vision and personal investment into the subject.

>Someone like me absolutely doesn't fit into either box as I'm genuinely attracted to men, there is no "pseudo-bisexuality" as Blanchard called that.

>When TERFS use these theories they already don't make sense, but when other trans people use them it makes even less sense and makes the speaker look as an internalized transphobe.

>Blanchard's research was routed in the belief that everything related to transition was done out of sexual motivations by either " becoming a woman to trick straight men or becoming a woman to trick lesbians".

>Blanchard forgets that WWII veterans in their 90s transition knowing fully well they never will have another sex partner. So Blanchard's claims are not waterproof against being debunked, like he himself believes to be the case.

>Time for new research with fresh, measurable and reliable insights, so that ridiculously outdated studies like these can be left to rest in the world of debunked myths.

>Same as for that Swedish study analyzing trans people's lives in the 1970s and using the results to demonstrate that we are prone to committing suicide even after transition. As if a time where trans people had no rights is representative of modern transition results.

>It's getting boring to debunk myths like that.

>I had dysphoria and the remedy offered worked. I'm now happy and healthy and only deal with everyday problems everyone experiences. End of the story. A zillion of biased studies won't change the way I continue to live my life.

>Thanks for coming to my TED-Talk.
