How do i make friends at University as an FTM former shut in?

When i was retaking my A levels i managed to become friendly with a few cis people, but we were never quite friends and i found out a lot of them were transphobic later on.
I would like to make at least one true friend i can study with, chat with about vidya, go to the gym with and share my favorite food spots with.

We cis people are not that transphobic unless you form 100% of your identity around grooming children and self-mutilation. In the same way that we healthy BMI people are not that racist against obexe niggers unless they fit all the stereotypes of a fat ugly nigger.
