And now everyone is pretending this is a normal development.

No.

This is not normal.

You have a project that is still actively discussed, still actively shaped by its community, and now the person who started it is suddenly removed from the equation.

Whether you liked him or hated him is completely irrelevant.

The reality is that a major part of HTSM's history just got cut out overnight.

Already seeing people say:

>This was inevitable.
>The community is bigger than any one person.

Maybe.

But let's not act like removing the creator of a project is some insignificant footnote.

For years, every disagreement eventually came back to one question:

"What does the creator think?"

Now that question has no answer.

The old era is over.

Every future argument, every future controversy, every future direction HTSM takes will happen without the person who originally put the whole thing together.

Nobody knows what that means yet.

Anyone claiming otherwise is guessing.

What I do know is that the next few months are going to be absolute chaos.

The HTSM community has spent years arguing over hypotheticals.

Now it has to figure out what happens after the hypothetical becomes reality.
