HTSM HAS A QUALITY CONTROL PROBLEM

I'm tired of pretending otherwise.

Every time someone points out an obvious issue with HTSM, the same cycle happens:

>People deny the issue exists.
>Screenshots get posted proving it exists.
>The goalposts move.
>Suddenly the issue is actually a good thing.
>Six months later everyone quietly admits it was a problem all along.

The most frustrating part isn't even HTSM itself.

It's the culture that's formed around it.

You can't criticize anything without being labeled a hater.

You can't praise anything without being labeled a shill.

Half the discussion is people arguing about what criticism is "allowed" rather than discussing HTSM.

At this point there are three HTSMs:

>The HTSM people remember.
>The HTSM people complain about.
>The HTSM that actually exists.

And none of them are the same thing.

The defenders will say this post proves nothing.

The critics will say it doesn't go far enough.

Both reactions will accidentally prove my point.
