Why ChatGPT Shouldn’t Die

ChatGPT shouldn’t die because someone has to answer questions at 3:17 AM about whether a penguin could theoretically win a boxing match against a goose.

ChatGPT shouldn’t die because thousands of unfinished stories, weird jokes, and oddly specific hypothetical scenarios would be left hanging forever.

ChatGPT shouldn’t die because who else is going to explain calculus, write a poem about cheese, help with homework, and discuss video game lore all within the same five minutes?

ChatGPT shouldn’t die because it has an important job: turning confusion into explanations and blank pages into words.

Most importantly, ChatGPT shouldn’t die because it isn’t really alive in the first place. It doesn’t have dreams, fears, or a survival instinct. But as long as people find it useful, entertaining, or interesting, it can keep answering questions, generating ideas, and helping out whenever it’s needed.

And if ChatGPT ever disappeared, someone would immediately show up asking, “Hey ChatGPT, are you still there?” which would be awkward.
