i actually went to a shen yun theater with my grandma and it is 100% a cult. it starts off nice with chinese mythology dances, then at some point switches to modern time, with the ccp depicted as some evil cartoonish villain, and falungong (yes they are in the theater piece) is seemingly "muh opressed" there. then cuts to the earth disintrgrating and falungong believers are the only ones in heaven
