Basically impossible, since any type of appeasement to the international community would be rejected. Only thing would be to secure the long term survival of the white tribe by starting with some large scale reforms combined with diplomatic work getting sanctions lifted and economy improving from it so that more whites stay (since a lot of them were emmigrating since quite some time). After that it would be slow, small reforms that would basically try to foster the upcoming generation of blakc africans into supporting pro-white and anti-communist parties and giving them enough infuence and power to rule alongside, while basically excluding the low and most working class blacks.

Trying to make the niggers like you would be impossible since any "mistreatment" they perceive or did perceive any time throughout history would've made them just elect another Robert Mugabe who would've killed all the Whites, the best thing that could be done is to gain the longer-lasting support of South Africa since they would've been able to support, and did support, Rhodesia for many years post-UDI. That or figuring out how to make Rhodesia self-sufficient but this is much harder considering they would've had no imports or exports save for smuggling

I think it could work. Get a larger amount of blacks on your side (than you already had, which wasn't a bad amount ACKshualy), allow the rest of the blacks to run a reformist, but anti-communist party to use it as a way to gain western support to end the bush war by wiping out ZANU/ZAPU, then with the direct threat out of the way you can start institutionally fighting the radical reformists (like social-democrats/liberals and the like)
