Also, kind of related, how do you cope with all the evil in the world? If there is an all loving God, why would he create a universe where suffering is allowed? I believe that the fact we care for those we know are inherently a strain on our systems speaks to the inner goodness in our hearts being made in Gods image, our desire to take care of animals, to want to see justice and to feel angry when we are robbed of it.
Also asking me to make a theodicy on the spot is really fucking hard, there are certain things we can say though. Many actions are due to the results of man and free will, and many are due to the fallen nature of this world being imperfect (but even with it being fallen, it is still a beautiful wonderful world worth admiring in the parts not corrupted) but beyond that, it is very hard to discuss, much smarter men then me have tried and those answers (you can look up aquinas and his response to the problem of evil) could satisfy you, or they may leave you empty.
And it's not like i'm some stranger to suffering, i was born with a rare disease that causes my every day to be sad and miserable, but i go through it because i know God is good and it will be worth it, some day i will get to meet my God in the flesh, In his son Jesus, and i will be happy.
