>>16368453i know people will say that i'm reading too much into it, but i feel the same towards most of the normie epstein memes. it's presented satirically, sure, but when you joke about epstein being a based superhero enough eventually you develop a semi-ironic affinity for him, which is a commonly documented phenomenon which transcends individual jokes or subcultures (that is, people doing something or endorsing something ironically and then actually coming to unironically do or endorse it). additionally, if epstein and his ilk can be relegated to just a retarded meme, people will come to view him as just the AI phonk edit funny guy instead of a satanic jewish pedophile child trafficker which inhibits them from taking action in any meaningful way. this further plays into the fact that most of modern culture which takes place and finds its origins on short form algorithms is entirely premeditated, although most people (i.e normies, but even people on imageboards and/or non mainstream social media too) seem to think that trends just seem to arise naturally or by chance. or something
