<1. Jews had historically been involved in finance since Christians were forbidden from it, so many rulers commissioned Jewish people specifically to guide their economies and financial institutions. When the economy failed, Jewish people were blamed. This distrust grew strongly in the 19th century as banks collapsed, economies struggled, and Jews were in the spotlight of it all.
<2. Also in the 20th century was the age of nationalism. Jews had no nation state, so the nations in which they lived in discriminated against them for being seen as foreign and not loyal. Jews were fairly cosmopolitan and traveled between nations without really being bound anywhere, which made all of nationalistic Europe clittyleak over them not being loyal.
<3. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion was a fabricated document alleging that Jews globally were planning a conspiracy to take over the world. The events of World War I and the interwar period would worsen this, as you'll see in the next points.
<4. Germany's loss in World War I was pinned on Jewish capitalist interests, as Jewish finance was suffering from the war. This was actually pretty true; the Jews had really been pushing to end the First World War through a German surrender (recall how Jews were already seen as disloyal). The Stab In The Back myth was less true, but still popular, as Germans didn't want to accept the shame of losing for themselves.
<5. Germany's economy got FUCKED after World War I, but the impacts were mostly against blue-collar type German workers and small businesses. Jewish finance was less affected by the struggle, and Germans began to see Jews as kind of "taking over" and leaving actual Germans behind. This stoked further belief in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion as mentioned earlier. The NSDAP would campaign on hating Jews to appeal to populist Germans.
<6. Originally, the NSDAP just wanted to remove the Jews from Germany; they didn't actually want to mass exterminate them at first, but they wanted Jews the FUCK out. Only, as Germany began to lose World War II, did Hitler really see killing them all as the final solution (get it?).
