my cat ran away what do i do? i live in an apartment building so there's a high chance somebody has caught it already because it's qn indoor cat and wouldn't run away too far. But i don't know who would and since i live chinkland they might've eaten it.

Missing posters, ask around nearby if possible. If your circumstances allow you to, put a box the cat can enter with a familiar scent from home like a cat bed or a food they like (if there arent predators around) somewhere nearby. Be sure to actually physically look around for the cat nearby as well, they usually dont go far initially, but if you have anybody that can help you look that’s even better. Local facebooks can help depending on if the boomers around you give a fuck.
