chefGOD here. it may be goyish to have such a popular opinion but the tenders are so fucking bland without the sauce. they are a sauce business. you can make your own tenders at home without seed oils and they'll be better. avocado oil is not a seed oil and is excellent for deep frying due to its 500° smoke point (260° if europooran)

Use a stock pot and wear oven mitts if you're scared. It's that easy. Oil splashes are fearmongered to shit. It won't get in your eyes. Just put the oil in a tupperware container if you can afford to throw one away
