I'm probably going to get banned for revealing this but the shitty has a secret post pending approval system, unlike 4cuck however it's managed by an automod (system). When a post is posted it goes through this process: first it checks to see if you're ban evading or have any outstanding bans, then is the 'p filter, which (obviously) checks the media attached for 'p. Next is word filtering, this is self explanatory, it checks for words then changes them. Fourth is the nameroll, it applies the nameroll. The order of the next processes, but then after the nameroll it checks post length, if the length is 0 it doesn't go through this is why you can just press the post button with an empty comment field if your nameroll is "Gigachad" or "Alicia", if you don't believe me set them as your name on /qa/. Somewhere within this list, it checks the media to see if it's approved aswell as the ip to see if it's whitelisted and/or gempass is activated. That's everything that happens when you press the post button, however it doesn't end there.
This part is mostly classified id imagine, but when a post is initially posted, two things happen depending on the post type; being thread and reply. Threads take a few seconds up to a minute depending on board to appear (they ALWAYS take longer than replies), this is most likely due to a ppa (post pending approval) system. Replies often don't go through that, the exception is blacklisted IPs. I cannot say when this was added, but it was likely within the month. The reason I call it a ppa system is because it isn't managed by the client unlike the automod, it's managed by the server, which is strange. If you have a link to a thread under ppa, you can see it and even reply to it, you cannot do this with replies.
I have no snopes for this so you'll have to take my word but there's also a thread replacement feature. Yesterday there was a thread on the vibecoded jerdee, and about 10 minutes or so into it's runtime, the thing was reset to just be a dogtoes htsm, the post button said that the thread didn't exist but it wouldn't 404 when accessed, meaning it was shadow locked. These are features that have gone completely under the radar and are undocumented.
