>>16268176The dogshit audio quality is a really important part though. Its good at keeping posers out and being too scary for the mainstream. Only trve believers in what black metal stands stick around. You'll eventually come to like it if you're serious about Black Metal
â„–16268218[Quote]
>>16268199 tbh i can get behind that, low audio quality isn't enough to scare me away from really good sounding demos from bands i like, i'll have to keep this in mind

>what music do you like
i have an entry level understanding of a decent number of subgenres but i mostly listen to rock. some of my favourite bands/artists at the moment are probably lil watermark, front 242, P.E.E and atari teenage riot
>what are your interests
i don't have any, the only sort of novel thing i do other than shart up imageboards is write in my journal but i'm really bad at writing in a compelling manner and it all comes off as tryhard pseud babble. i spend most of my free time just skimming random wikipedia articles, watching youtube and posting here.
>do you play anything interesting
i would like to learn an instrument, but i'm torn between bass guitar or (synth) keyboard. i generally don't have much motivation but i feel like if i tried super hard and gave myself reasons to try i could become semi competent at one of them. i like the keyboard for being more versatile and having a generally cooler and more independent, electronic sound but the bass seems keyed for its tone and the way it adds depth to songs
>what food do you like
my most eaten meal is probably grilled cheese sandwiches, which i usually make with cheese, bread and either pepperoni or ham. i add pepper, oregano, basil and i usually have some sort of semi-exotic cheese (i.e something that isn't just the sliced cheddar) to throw on too for flavor.
>whats your favorite color. i like eating duck and kebabs too, although i only ever get them when ordering somewhere.
green, dark green specifically. it's kino
>what songs been in your head recently
U-men by front 242 and paper airplanes, paper hearts by everyone asked about (You). the second is probably too faggy for most people here but i'll attach the former here

>>16268627 honestly if you learned synth thatd be pretty cool, bass guitar and synth seem possible to learn at the same time since bass isnt hard starting out, it'd be good for discipline

>>16268468you gain muscle memory for chords over time. practice time and good sleep make the best difference. you will also want to play with a metronome to strive to stay on beat.
â„–16268663[Quote]
>>16268652 forgot about metronomes tbh, but, noted, guess its just time + consistency, and never letting yourself give up if a song's beating your ass

>>16268768that is true, it would be a useful stepping stone should i ever want to play electric guitar. the hardest part about picking up hobbies for me is being very easily demotivated and losing interest in things quickly, alTHOUGH my sister has two bass guitars, and she only ever plays one of them (the one that isn't a piece of shit) so i may the worse of the two and see if i like it enough to play it consistently. i've tried in the past, but i've always given up within days or weeks of being interested. i have some disposable cash on hand too, so i'll research more on synths before deciding whether i should buy one or not.
