The only reason I give Five Nights at Freddy's the time of day is Scott CHADthon is a based as fuck trannymogger who is an uncompromised Christian who believes in family values, hired his own family to help him in his creative endeavors, donated half his money to charities, never apologized for his political or religious beliefs even when he got doxxed and threatened by the entire gaming community, and doesn't openly promote any gender dysphoria bullshit in any of his merchandising or IP creations. Whatever your thoughts on his recent theatrically released movies are, which he wrote (and gets most of the box office), I fully believe regardless of their quality, both the critic circles and journalists had it out to make sure those films were review panned because they don't want him to be successful. He's not supposed to still be around. He was the religious zealot billionaire who was supposed to get cancelled, sit in the corner, and hope to come back with a humiliation ritual in the same way actors like Brendan Fraser had to worm their way back into acting by starring in a Jewish torture porn film about an obese gay single father. He also is one of the only major publishers I've seen today who entirely represents himself. He never sold the IP to anyone else. All proceeds go to him, so for better or worse, everything that comes out of the series has to be approved by him. There is no opportunity for some transvestite freak to come in and try to twist the property into something more faggot apologist or start trauma dumping. There is a lot of drama and family issues in the original Five Nights at Freddy's games, but they're situated from a very sympathetic eye to the victims. At the end of the day, it's a story about children being murdered and get revenge on their assailant. It's a story of good triumphing over evil. It's not an exercise from some psychology or art majors degree 20 year-old venting their angst about their parents not understanding their "The Used" fad. It's an artist reflecting on his career, working in his experiences as a father, and using his last ditch effort to tell a darker narrative that pulls stories right from the Bible. The thing that copycats fail to understand why and how Scott was able to weaponize the trend he facilitated is his desperation for a hit was still pure. Only people pure of heart can make quality content. Of course the furries and trannies would eventually take over and be the face of his whole community, but that can't be helped when you're dealing with mascotslop. And, Scott would eventually hand reigns of making new games off to other people, which has lead to this "mystery box" vague writing that everyone has tried to copy. Hello Neighbor is the prime example of desperate game developer trying to be the next big thing.
