Day 57: I finally rinsed my scalp so the "no shower" name is now completely false. As expected, there was a wet dog smell for a moment, then it was gone, especially as I kept scrubbing. As my hair dried, it became slightly waxy, but less so than expected.

As my hair dried, it became slightly waxy, but less so than expected. Brushing dispersed it and removed a substantial amount of buildup. Indeed, scratching my scalp now produces very little buildup under the nails, if any, and it no longer has the dark, dirty color that characterized it. My mom thought I actually used shampoo. So, all in all, good signs that I may be able to fully transition to water-only showering.
