i understand the theory, but not how someone came up with it. it feels very unintuitive

"observation" is prone to error anyways. what if someone claimed to see aliens while high on drugs? even the most expensive telescope could malfunction and you might not know. you just can't "observe" something into existence - especially if you aren't 100% certain
things dont just "start" existing when observed
