At a previous place I worked (which i quit after 3 months cus they were fucking awful) I was tasked with rerwiting a piece of code which was possibly the worst code i had ever seen in my life. I talked to some of the other people there, and apparently the guy that wrote this code would every day bring in a raw chicken breast, microwave it with 0 seasoning until it was a fine homogenous grey colour and eat that alone for lunch. EVERY DAY. It explained a lot about the code, never got to meet the guy tho he was fired before i started.
