I have bought a t440p (and a cheap x230 alongside it), a security key, some glitter nail polish, and foil.
I have installed the heads firmware on my devices, and I have removed the fan to prevent possible datamining, I have also installed Gentoo with a usb key (different from other security key) + double password AES-512 encrypted hard drive to ensure security, I have placed nail polish on the laptop back cover to prevent tampering.
I got rid of my phone, and thankfully I live alone so there are no phones nearby.
What other security measures should I take? Serious answers only please.

Use gpg-zip. It archives and compresses and encrypts a directory (triple whammy). The you can upload the resulting file anywhere and it can't be read or tampered with by anyone who doesn't know the password.

 â„–27627

>>27625
The large files usually found in /home aren't easily compressable. As it is often the largest partition on a disk, doing a backup either requires access to a larger disk or a dozen USBs to write >>27571 to.
