I had a dream once where I lived in some village in the woods, some kind of war was happening and the invading army was approaching the town, most people evacuated but I had nowhere else to go and couldn't be bothered. Late in the day I was wandering the woods and found a girl sitting alone near a stump, I talked to her for a bit and we went around the now empty town. At around sundown she invited me into her house, and inside there were piles of random stuff strewn around, and she explained to me that she had been living with her parents but they went missing earlier during the war. I sat down with her and we spent the last night together before the enemy army came to torch everything- it's all kind of hazy now. I wish I could have the dream again to try to remember more but it hasn't resurfaced.
