Im 18 and feel similar. Its mostly because I have a lot to do with balancing work and uni at the same time, so whenever I play games I feel like im wasting a ton of time i should be spending on something more useful.
If I was a NEET I would enjoy games no problem. You'd get over the worthlessness feeling within like a month of playing vidya all day, and when it gets boring they typically make online friends somewhere and have a 'cord to shit up all day.
I just wish I could feel truly free once i get home. Instead theres always more work to be done.

naw you just feel immature and want to find a way to feel more grown up, but quitting video games isn't the solution. what actually makes you more mature is taking on responsibility in life

Not about being to old, I just do not enjoy them as much now. I have other things to do that take priority. If I came across a super fun game or friends wanted to play, I would not be opposed.
