Does anyone else hate environmentalism

You constantly hear about how the Amazon rainforest is getting chopped down. About how 99% of earth's swampland is going to die. About how 99% of species are going extinct. And over time I just get annoyed hearing about this shit. It feels like a larp. Because if the Amazon and swamps are so important then why do you guys never talk about them except to talk about how they are dying? I think swamps and the Everglades are really cool but I have never seen a conversation where someone talked about how cool swamps are before, I have only seen people just endlessly talk about how swamps are on the verge of extinction and in 60 years nobody will even know what a swamp looks like. I don't get it. If swamps really mattered, wouldn't we actually want to talk about them? It seems like nobody actually gives a fuck about nature but they want to larp as a nature lover for some weird reason just so they can say the planet is dying
