War Thunder. I have no clue why I have hundreds of hours in this game, its absolutely terrible and grindy. No sort of matchmaking either so people with genuinely thousands of hours will be in the same match as somebody brand new and will of course 'ape them.
I've stopped recently doebeit and I will probably not go back. Its too grindy and I refuse to put money into it.

it's made even worse by the fact that it may be one of the most unbalanced fighters of all time. virtually any ultra class when played with a middling amount of skill (or a macro) can combo any other class to death. and if you just started a new character, and you run into an ultra class, you're absolutely fucked unless you log out ASAP

The only reason I play it is because I'm a tank autist. I blame Girls Und Panzer for making me interested in tanks, I used to just be a history nerd but the show made me care about them when I watched it at 13 and I haven't really lost interest. Its an ok anime that put a lot of detail into the vehicles but has very little plot, its like a sport.
I prefer other games to war thunder but i sometimes just get the urge for pure tank combat. COD4 and WAW are fun time wasters, I play them on the PS3.

It's really grindy, your teammates are almost always retarded since it's a F2P game, the game is really buggy, the devs focus on making a profit instead of improving and rebalancing the game, etc… Driving and shooting tanks is still fun thoughbeit, i wish there was a good PVP tank game
