Having an older sister or otherwise a maternal figure who is closer to a peer than your actual mother is necessary for a young kid, boy or girl to grow up.
In Japan you must know of the hikikomori phenomenon. Some families will actually pay $900 a month to a woman to come over an act as an older sister and nudge them to come out of their rooms and interact with the real world. It’s called “rent a sister”.
Some people are unlucky enough to have older sisters but having one definitely improves your life in some way because they can encourage you.

My mom isn't that bad just that I wish I had someone else in my life, I've been friends with women before who were older sisters themselves and they were always loving to their siblings and those guys were far happier than me

I'm not going to mock you for wanting something that logically sounds like it might have helped you, and that you never experienced. I have felt similarly before in wishing I had an older brother, someone I could look up to but in a way more akin to a friend, not a father.

I have a younger sister and it doesn't help at all for my ability to talk to women. Shes not like all the girls around me, because she grew up in the same household as me, and so isn't a completely retarded goyim. To be able to have good relationships with women outside your family, you need to have passed a few key checkpoints:
- being good looking, so you aren't immediately mocked
- being social and not spergy in any way
- having positive reinforcement with girls from an early age

These are all related to each other but are crucial. In your formative years you need to have communicated with girls, got along, and engraved into your subconscious how to interact with them. If you're ugly, and especially if you are a sperg, you are fucked. Women avoid any sort of neuroticism like the plague

Having an older sister would probably make those key points worse if she is a typical foid. Feminism and the current political system pushes the idea of women simultaneously being oppressed, and also better at everything than men and more achieving. So they will get extra support while never having to take responsibility for anything. This huge ego is also mixed in with a hatred for men because muh patriarchy. So from a young age you would be getting put down by the older sister, and growing up constantly compared to her.
As a guy you are responsible for everything you do and aren't allowed any weakness, and there are expectations of you. Girls have no expectations other than not being a whore, and therefore everything they do stands out, and any weakness is coddled.

Having a non-mindraped older sibling is fine I guess, wouldn't really help with relations with women but having good siblings is generally a benefit. They can help you out, you can help them out, your parents aren't going through everything for the first time with you so they are more experienced.

Also a sibling is kinda a permanent friend. You can mess around with them and have fun doing shieet without worrying about societal norms much, just sperg out.
