I wasn’t on it for too long but it was fun to be on, especially on raids or group shit like gartic phone, I don’t truly think it’ll die

i miss making 'jaks, and those huge threads where people would just make 'jaks all day
that was the core of the site to me
i do think it has a chance to come back from the ashes, but i think its equally as likely to fail

Do you really not have that much faith in the new admin? I am a bit skeptical as well, but I do think there’s a possibility that it could be good for the site.

I just come here to have fun. I'd be sad if it shut down but I wouldn't get hung up on it

Honestly I when I went without it for 3 days hardly anything changed, I just spent more time on 4cuck and tried lurking on the Booru's forums for the first time in a long time (which was pretty shit). I feel like I can't connect with most of the site's userbase despite using the site for somewhat longer than the average soyteen in current year and most things just feel boring and repetitive for me, though the same is true of 4chan. It's the same arguments, discussions, metawhining, what have you which goes on ad nauseam every single day without meaningful resolution or conclusion, similar to most real life conversations. I'm sort of between a rock and a hard place because I don't like this site that much any more but I can't stand most of the alternatives, and no real world hobbies that I've tried really appeal to me so I don't think they'd be able to sufficiently fill the time void either.

I like that this site is filled with brainrot shitposts. Its a unique branding that no other website can equal in intensity and that also no other website make it that easy to access.

hobbies are kind of a meme, no one even talked about hobbies until the last 100 years. An adult man should spend 2/3 of his time on work and 1/3 on friends/family. If you don't want to spend that much time on work you're in the wrong line of work

Fun is not evil. But if you're an adult and you try to make fun a major part of your lifestyle, it just won't go well. Adulthood is not designed for that. It's designed for pursuing goals. If you design your life as an adult to be goal-oriented, then life will treat you really well, but if you try to make it fun-oriented then life will kick you in the balls. Fun is basically for people who lucked out & were born into rich families so they can blow money on rock climbing and ski trips. If you are not them, don't bother
