Man, I cried when I first finished zellig. I know it's kind of a tranime but the ending song hits especially hard. I've felt exactly like that so many times.

its pure, one of my favorite animations, everyday when i think i am feeling too happy i remember that hazbin hotel has 2 seasons and zellig only has one episode

not that i completely hate hazbin hotel, my gf forced me to watch a bit of it, and i like the sister show helluva boss quite a bit(started watching cause of the voice actor for zim being in it)… both however are nothing compared to zellig

If you haven't already I'd recommend watching Watamote. It's not the same but if you like one you'll probably like the other, personally Tomoko is more relatable to me than Maya. I think that the association 'zellig has with a lot pedos and weird people has made many people unfairly dislike the series and not look at it from an unbiased perspective
