Are these online or real life friends? You need to try making friends who don't see website usage or chuddines as a moral failing. You can still talk to these people if possible, but you will always have to have a filter and adjust to the kulchur like people do here. I've had a simmilar thing happen to me recently and while it was really painful the first few months and I did eventually realise that not having to walk on eggshells and being punished for moral failings only put me behind on where I could have been. Focus on finding hobbies or growing untill someone else stumbles in your life.
