Though I'm introverted, I usually do fine in social situations, but as I get older and nothing changes, it feels increasingly difficult to talk to people without felling embarrassed. Every Thanksgiving when my family asks me what I've been up to and I tell them nothing, it feels exponentially more humiliating each time.

I know I can still probably turn things around, but being this far behind in life is nothing short of a humiliation ritual, especially when interacting with your peers.

timepill is brutal
i can relate, hopefully you have a stable and good background and your family supports you, but the truth is nobody is going to save you
yes some people simply have it better off (genetics, upbringing, environments, connections, hell even neurotypicality and neuroticism) but i suggest you focus on those conditions that are within your control, it is a matter of self-determination and willpower
dont give into nihilism, you are still young and beautiful. spend it wisely as you only have one brain and life

Please go back to school just to get your HS diploma. It really does matter to have that qualification.
Do your parents have a car? If they help you out a bit you could start getting a license.
Won't change too much but it helps a bit when looking for a job and you will have something to tell your parents.

why do muricans treat this like such a big deal?
and isn't it rather easy to get in the US?
(assuming you are 'merican because I only ever see burgers complain about this)

>>still technically haven't graduated HS

why not use this opportunity to get a prime foid?

my father is in his 60s and doesn't have a driving license, it's ok

When you have nothing to lose you stand to only gain. Don't get your ego bruised by constant rejections on job applications and just keep trying anything even if you lack qualifications. My biggest fuck up is lacking a driver's license. So get that done before trying to find work or even joining the army since that is the only prospect left for the likes of us.

I've had literal desk jockey jobs ask for a driving license as a mandatory requirement. How did your dad manage back then?

glowie here, just join the military at this point

also get your HS diploma or an equivalent, 22 is still young, if you start now it will get better
