For jewtube, if youre on PC there are some browser extensions that just remove shorts. I have it installed, its pretty good. I have no clue why someone would want shorts on a big screen

if i make my own web site it'll probably be a multi purpose board and media site, think like a mix of newgrounds, tumblr, and chan sites since in terms of web design those sites feel nice to use(userbase and moderation asside) i cant well articulate exactly how those sites would be combined but i have ideas(tumblr inspiration might be cut, since the way the site works certainly appeals to foids and leftists, but i like the idea of following posters to see their forum posts in a list of people you follow when not in the forum boards, and i like the way their comments section works, altho i kinda prefer the way a chan site's works, idk i'll work it out)
