Hey 'teens, sorry if this is more cliche for the standards of this board, but I've been miserable since Halloween and I'm hoping some chuds will have useful advice for me going forward, both practical advice for what I should do in my tangible environment and mental/spiritual advice for what I, myself, should do.
<
To start with the context, I've had a crush on a coworker in my retail job for a little over a year by this point. Most of this time has been spent silently observing and appreciating her presence, as I simply didn't exercise my will to try anything since I had no balls. However, I did get her number many months ago, but she seemed to have interpreted this as being for platonic friendliness and her responses were dry. I continued trying to 'up my game' through giving her nice flowers I found in the store sometimes or cheap, but innocuous gifts such as chocolate. I would also try to strike conversation whenever I could and generally would focus the conversation on herself and topics that I thought could produce meaningful conversation, but again, she generally is either dry, timid, confused, unsure, or all of the above whenever I spoke. Again, I tried bringing it up a notch and started being more playful and flirtatious, even physically on a few occasions, which believe me, this isn't usually in my nature to be so direct and obvious, but I didn't see any other way.
<
By contrast, I would observe how she behaved with my other coworkers, male and female, and see how open and relaxed she would be. She would talk openly about her future prospects in school with one female coworker, then laughing along with what another coworker has said the next moment. She has such a graceful presence that radiates joy, but I could rarely replicate it for myself, but I cherish the few times I got to experience it from her personally. It drove me crazy, and still does, that I seem to be inherently incompatible with her by her ruling and I just didn't know how to trigger that no matter what approach I experimented with. I was jealous of my coworker's magical ability to get that out of her with their normie perception.
<
Fast forward to Halloween; I'm tired of these feelings eating away at me. I've spent months trying to get closer, but constantly getting mixed signals with whatever compliment, flirting, or whatever else I've tried. We are allowed to dress in costume today, so I, again, increase the intensity and decide to call her costume cute (Not her, the person mind you, just the costume), but to no avail. Fast forward near the end of the day, I ask her a mundane question, but that's when she revealed to me, intentionally or not, that she has a boyfriend. I don't know if she finally caught on to my obvious signals, if she had enough with me and decided to drop that information, or if she has genuinely been oblivious the entire time and her boyfriend just happened to be relevant to her for her response. In fact, I don't even know if it's true, as I've never seen her boyfriend and I've never heard her speak about it, but I don't think she'd lie about it. There is no point wondering about all of this though, as either way, it's over.
<
My world of fantasy has completely collapsed, I'm left feeling hopeless, unlovable, and in total despair. I do care about her and want her to be happy, but simultaneously I feel deep envy for the man that gets to enjoy her and have her for himself instead of me. Few women have been interested in me in my life, which is no surprise being that I lurk here, but I have had a girlfriend before and multiple other women express interest. All of those women though were either just incompatible with me and I didn't truly like them, including the one woman I actually dated, or I completely blew it and allowed their flaws to be the apple of my eye instead of their beauty, so I ended up being cold or even cruel.
<
I think it's obvious enough that I get attached easily under the right circumstances, you don't have to tell me, but how could I not? I'm not like some BPD whore falling head over heels for any toxic asshole; I truly do dislike, or even hate most people around me, as edgy as it might sound, but hate is a strong word so I don't know if I'd go that far. However, when I meet a truly beautiful woman, one that radiates a spiritual kind of joy, but yet also a grounded presence that culminates into this very sweet, loving, chaste, and non-discriminating character, then suddenly I just can't resist anymore. It's when I can look at their face, into their eyes, and I can see all of that childlike wonder and beauty that forms the essence of their character. She represents everything about the divine feminine that I love and it's so close, yet so far, like a child trying to reach a jar of cookies on a high shelf.

<cont because body too long
I haven't yet had to work with her again since this incident, and I don't know if she has even realized what she's done, but even if she is totally unaware and treats me the same as before, the consequences of what I've done have dawned on me when I went to enter my previous shift as I frantically panicked that she might be there and I'd have to be the child hopelessly reaching for the unobtainable cookies. Not to mention that my mom knows about my crush (didn't intentionally tell her, it isn't relevant how she knows) and she constantly brings her up when she sees her or asks me about her after work. I just came back from a haircut near my workplace and she apparently had walked by shortly before I arrived, so when my mom brought her up, my hair cutter notes that he saw her too and that "she's pretty cute". This is fucking torture. Call it 'first-world problems' or whatever, but I don't care, this is torture for my feelings. And I know I can't bring any of this up to my mom and ask her to stop, otherwise she'll make a fuss about that too.
<
All of this has culminated into me spiraling about possibly never getting to experience true love. I ask myself why this matters and I don't have an answer, no objective logic to back me up, but just that the divine feminine of life is what I desire. I don't know why I have these feelings or any feelings, I don't know why I feel or what the purpose of that is. I don't understand the human nature and why we feel on a metaphysical or spiritual level and I don't know what the implications of that would be, good or bad, and it's freaking me the fuck out.
<
I have nothing else to say, any advice? Sorry if that was a lot, especially by the end since that seems to be only tangentially related to my strife, but this is my genuine thought process and where it has lead me. I feel lost, hopeless, purposeless, and in total despair. I wish I could communicate the full extent of my feelings and somebody could wholly understand me, but that's impossible. especially since I don't even seem to understand me.

No, originally

 β„–104933[Quote]

My only advice is to try to get over her quick. Maybe it's worth telling your mother that apparently she has a boyfriend so she knows not to push those buttons.

I spent my 2 years in college doing the "observing" stuff. Never had the guts to ask her out, or even try to make advances. Honestly, i have no clue why she didnt bring it up before that either she actually has a boyfriend, or she wasnt interested. People don't just give their coworkers flowers and chocolates randomly. Maybe she was being an evil foid and playing you on so she could get more free stuff and attention, who knows. I wouldnt say your methods are wrong, she might have been the wrong target. Because i doubt any girl wouldnt get the message at that point if youre buying her flowers.

Dont be jealous of the female coworkers ability. Girls arent too different from guys, everyone is more relaxed with people their own sex, and will chat more freely. They dont feel that worry/stress of considering them as a potential partner.

 β„–104938[Quote]

>>104933
Thanks for the actual reply. Let me clear some stuff up since I might of not given enough context.
<
She is more jolly and relaxed around everybody, not just me, regardless of sex, race, or any variable other than myself, but of course my observation here could be biased. Also, she rarely ever accepted my gifts, as usually she'd politely say no and even after I insisted she still wouldn't. I would still try on occasion just to gauge how she's feeling, but the result was always the same aside from the first few times I've done it. I also never bought flowers, but my store sells flowers and sometimes some nice ones like a rose or tulip would fall out of the bouquet when customers were handling them, so I'd pick those up and give them to her. You can call me a cheap kike or whatever, but obviously I know that I shouldn't be buying stuff for a girl that there is no certainly that I'll be dating or not (obviously not going to now geg) and I was hoping she would see it as thoughtful, as I do feel bad seeing the flowers go to waste in the garbage.
>Honestly, i have no clue why she didnt bring it up before that either she actually has a boyfriend, or she wasnt interested.
That's why I'm not sure of whether she was completely oblivious or not, because if your theory were true then she would of been accepting my gifts, but she rarely ever did.

 β„–104941[Quote]

I am not reading all that blud

or thats coal btw

 β„–104942[Quote]

>>104938
Also I should say again that this doesn't matter by this point. Whether she was oblivious, aware, honest or dishonest, the fact is that it's over now. I'm not worried about the past, but my future of having to work alongside her with these feelings and what looks to be a very lonely and bleak future being that I'm not settling for a zogged out roastoid, even if it was only one previous guy, I don't fucking care, these temporary values are disgusting. Also, I don't see how I can "just get over her". Yeah that's obvious enough, but I don't see how I can do that. I feel like I'd need to find an even better girl to trump her in order to do that, but someone like her is already rare enough compared to the misery I have to be around every single day, but it's not like I'm much better in that regard.

 β„–104943[Quote]

>>104938
Ok, since she wasnt accepting them i guess she wasnt being nasty and using you. She sounds like she was pretty nice, but not really interested since she was rejecting your gifts. Maybe she just said she had a boyfriend because she didnt want to say outright that she wasnt interested, maybe she thinks thats rude. Unfortunately theres not much you can do. Keep your head up, you didnt do anything wrong, but this is just how it goes.

 β„–104947[Quote]

>>104943
>Maybe she just said she had a boyfriend because she didnt want to say outright that she wasnt interested
That's what I'm thinking is a possibility, but again, the past isn't much of my concern. Yeah I seethe when I think about her having a boyfriend, but the problem I'm trying to solve is why I feel this way and how I can control that for a better future, because otherwise I know I'll either be alone and miserable or I'll continue a cycle of failed attempts with women out of desperation. I've thought about quitting my job, but I don't know a better opportunity since the management likes me and is offering me positions, so logically I should stay for the time being. My current plan is to just fake it and act like I wasn't really trying to be flirtatious with her or anything, acting somewhat similar, but without the very direct acts of showing affection. I know I'll be miserable at work every time she's there though, as I already have been without her there, so that's the problem I'm trying to approach. Sorry if I'm not clear.

 β„–104948[Quote]

>>104942
I dont know how you would get over her, but just try to keep her out of your mind. Its rough but its better than keeping those longing feelings knowing she doesnt reciprocate.

I fully agree with you on not wanting a used up slut. Im 18 and ive never been in a relationship and dont see myself being in one anytime soon, but im not going to marry some whore looking to settle down in 10 years time. No matter what people say, the divide is too great. I cant be having all my firsts when shes done everything with multiple different men before, and is constantly mentally comparing me to a list of various men shes been with. Im hoping one day i can find a spergy woman that i can relate to on a deeper level, i know it's not realistic but let a man dream. If i am still single by the time i reach 30-40, i think ill consider adopting a child. Even if i cant breed or get a partner, i feel like i could offer a child a better chance at life than an orphanage could, and id like to have a lasting positive impact on someones life and the world. I don't want my family to end with me, even if it cannot continue by blood.

I like your way of thinking, you're a kind person. Why can't I meet brotherly and chivalrous men like this in real life?
>Im hoping one day i can find a spergy woman that i can relate to on a deeper level, i know it's not realistic but let a man dream
We are on the same page then. Both with our minds set on an ideal future, but without knowing the way to actualize that future. I just want to spend my life with somebody I truly love, somebody that really does understand me, but I've never met that woman, and the ones that tried I would still never fully open myself up. I'm frightened and I don't want to reveal my 'power level' so to speak and frighten them in turn.

Around people i tend to hide what im thinking and just joke around. Basically any time ive opened up my more sensitive thoughts to people irl, ive been met with either indifference at the best of times, or its led to some form of mockery. Occasionally i will be talking to someone and they seem like they are opening up so i try to encourage them but it's hard. I havent ever found anyone who is on a similar plane to me in person. A lot of the people i make friends with are autistic because they tend to be less judgemental and i have adhd myself so we understand each other pretty well, but they also tend to have a harder time with emotions and generally wont have much to say.

Ive considered going on dating apps to try and find someone, but i feel like id just be wasting my time. Theyre mostly used for hookups, and from looking at friends using the apps you will find either older women in their late 20s or higher, which probably fucked around in their youth and now want to settle down, or younger sluts coated in makeup and botox who obviously just want to fuck chads. I dont think its really possible to find a nice girl on them, since guys notice them quickly irl and they will most likely get one boyfriend and stick with them.

 β„–104958[Quote]

>>104957
I relate to everything you've said. I was diagnosed with Asperger's (even doe the DSM5 says that is no longer a real diagnosis of autism) as a kid and the people around me disgust me. I'm indifferent to them at best and an overarching contemptuousness at worst. I just want real love, both feminine and masculine. I want a truly feminine woman to love and give the world to, and I want a brotherly bond with like-minded and virtuous men.
>Ive considered going on dating apps to try and find someone, but i feel like id just be wasting my time.
Don't even consider it unless maybe you're in a rural area that doesn't have too much of the contemporary, popular culture around.

True love doesn’t exist like it does in disney movies

At this point just use escorts
I realized this when I was in high school
It’s just not worth trying to find β€œtrue love”
Cut your losses. The most honest relationship possible is a relationship with a prostitute

 β„–104967[Quote]

>>104966
I can see the argument for pure, true, unconditional love not being real, just as how any perfect form of a thing can't be manifest in reality, but obviously we know that pretty good relationships did and do exist. Also doesn't really answer what I'm trying to solve, but no I'm not going for a prostitute. If I wouldn't consider any woman with a body count past one, then in what world would I seriously be considering prostitutes and sex workers?
<
I want to make this clear: I am not backing down on my values of truth, beauty, and love. Any solution reminiscent of "Your perspective is wrong, value this instead/don't value this" is moot to me. I clearly understand that I've created a problem for myself that did not need to exist, but to me it seems clear that it's a question of how to use these values and to do what with them. I had simply misused them in this situation and started living in a world of fantasy. It's not an issue of my framing itself being faulty or wrong, as I'd actually say that it's the opposite, most people have faulty frames of value purpose themselves. I have a good frame, but the portrait is like if you told a toddler to paint the Mona Lisa.
>
I'm not expecting anyone here to reply and give me the solution and all knowledge I could of ever wished for, I guess I just wanted to vent. However, I also want conversation to be productive and I want productive answers.

I have the same thought, perhaps love of the emotional kind like this is mainly for women to experience.

 β„–104971[Quote]

>>104968
>forget about her
I'm sorry if I sound like a broken record, but HOW? Not to mention that I'm going to be around her at work, my mom is going to bring her up, I'm going to come across her mom, I'm going to see her out sometimes, etc. It's eating away at me. I know this is what has to be done, but I just don't know how.
>continue working on yourself
I try, and I know I'm a far better person than I was even a year or two ago, but I haven't done anything the past few days due to these feelings. Not that I think it matters much, as everything comes in cycles. There will be ups and downs, but I know that generally my life has been on an upwards trajectory. I'm not necessarily working on myself for women's sake and I don't see this as much of an issue beyond not being at my ideal for things.
>you could get many like her
How do you know? Women like her are already so rare, and just like the law of supply and demand, what's low in supply is high in demand. So few to find, and when you do come across gold it's not for sale or the price isn't worth it. I only have so much time. I'm young now, but throughout my entire life, I could count the amount of truly great, feminine, young women I've personally known (not counting one-offs with strangers) on just my two hands, maybe even just one. And some of those were very early in my life when I didn't have an interest in romance, probably from elementary to middle school age. That also doesn't account for the area I live in. Obviously I can't reveal that, but I'll just say it isn't far from a larger urban area and it's in the USA, so I have to deal with the average contemporary fags that come with that culture. It's easier to say if you lived in the midwest USA or SNCAville, Germany, but the people around me are soulless scum.

 β„–104972[Quote]

>>104969
>perhaps love of the emotional kind like this is mainly for women to experience.
This might be correct in some way. I hope it doesn't come across as faggy, but the way I love may be in a feminine manner, at least somewhat. I wouldn't say 'emotional love' itself is feminine though, as all love is emotional. Love is a feeling, an emotion, and I don't think anybody here would dispute that nor do I feel like arguing over it. There is, however, a masculine manner of love and a feminine one, which every person embodies aspects of both to varying degrees. Maybe I am feminine-leaning in that regard, but I don't know what to make of this for the topic of this thread. That could be useful knowledge for integration of the soul, the anima and animus maybe, but that's probably beyond the scope of the thread. All I know is that these feelings make me dwell on a bleak future and it makes me want to kill myself in Minecraft.

 β„–104975[Quote]

For a lot of people, this is true. It's not always true for people like me. I have only ever been in one relationship and it was a sexless relationship with a girl who had BPD. I have been rejected every other time. I doubt a "pretty good relationship" is possible for people like me. I would have to assume, by the story, that we are similar.
> . If I wouldn't consider any woman with a body count past one,
Why not? the bad part about a woman having a bad body count is that "they won't love you." Nigger, she wouldn't even if she was gigavirgin. Even is she claims to be gigavirgin, she's probably whoring out behind your back. The only option is to confine her in your basement or just be honest with yourself and fuck escorts. It's arguably cheeper too.
> how to use these values and to do what with them.
if you want to stick with these values, go to church. go every day. So long as you don't wake up as a 6 4 aryan gigach*d you'll stay this exact way.
> I'm not expecting anyone here to reply and give me the solution and all knowledge I could of ever wished for, I guess I just wanted to vent. However, I also want conversation to be productive and I want productive answers.
we feel you. we feel (((your pain))). we know what it's like. you're not alone here. there may be no productive answers other than "give up". But remember,

>>104975
>For a lot of people, this is true. It's not always true for people like me.
I wouldn't say that's true, not because your struggle is exceptional, but rather because I do think that, as you seem to believe yourself, good women are scarce. In fact, good people in general are scarce, and so while we see all of these normie relationships and assume they're happy, the reality is that they're just content with mediocrity and lack a conscious to such an extent that they can't even tell apart good and evil. You're crazy and weird for wanting a beautiful virgin love that isn't a promiscuous slut.
>Women have a past dooooood, deal with it chud.
They're disgusting and that's that. However, I do want to drop the whitepill that by this logic, we are more likely to find a genuine relationship than them being that we recognize some idea of what that is and we yearn for it or seek it, even with all of the suffering in the process. A normie might be content with his mediocre life and never question the meaning or purpose, but suddenly, when death is nearby, they're full of regret and despair. They're just sitting on a chair on the porch barely understanding what's even happening, just as they've spent their life.
>Why not? the bad part about a woman having a bad body count is that "they won't love you."
Because I want love. I know it exists and I know it's obtainable, but I just don't know through what means and how to get there. It isn't about sex. Sex is the physical manifestation of love, and it's beautiful when done in this vain, but it isn't the end goal of love, but rather a symptom. I've met good women, which as I've said is extremely rare, but regardless, they exist.
>if you want to stick with these values, go to church.
I'm not Christian. I aspire to reflect the divine goodness, not man-made doctrine. I thought about scouting out churches for a tradwife though, but I think that's a bit overexaggerated. I saw cute girls at a Mormon church doe.

You spend too much time on your own mind.

Time is the best solution for this. You feel devastated because of the attachment which is normal, but with the passing of weeks it will pass out. Don't try to stop your thoughts about her since thoughts are truly uncontrollable, but don't obsess about them either. Just let them flow.

From experience, i had a big crush, but i actually managed to see her with a boyfriend. I felt devastated, and worst of them all, she was from school (when i was younger). Seeing them kissing each other was so heartbreaking for me my friends noticed how depressed i looked. That day i cried for an entire hour, trying to stop thinking about her. The more i forced it, the heavier the thoughts felt, so i came upon the realization that it just happened and time will pass out.

Guess what? It did. I've felt liberated with the passing of weeks, and i didn't try to control it anymore. After that i would see her sometimes but i just stopped caring and i detached completely, i just looked at her.

The reason why you felt so attached to her is because of your own idealization, as i said, you iterate too much in your own mind. Love cannot be idealized neither planned, it's sudden. You can control it when the opportunity arrives, but true love truly is sudden.

This is my advice and i hope it helped you. A basic, yet great technique for telling whether a women likes you or not is simply by holding them eye contact. With practice it becomes easy. Hold eye contact and she will look away, that's how you can tell. More points if you smile and she does it back. By those signals approaching her is completely reasonable. I assume she didn't did this though (i could be wrong), so that's a way you can tell in the future.

>are you gnostic?
No. Like I said, I follow no man-made doctrine. That isn't to say I don't respect religion at all, as I used to be Christian out of recognition that it's done so much good for the development of European society despite its ups and downs as an institution. Going by pure logic though, and objective truth does exist, then the idea of the All, the everything, God, whatever you want to call it, being some type of character with his own biases, selections, or favorites is just ridiculous. It isn't solely good nor evil, masculine nor feminine, but encompassing all. I respect Christian doctrine and also some Gnostic doctrine, albeit I'm not too educated on Gnosticism. I can't confidently say I know or even believe anything by this point beyond the fact that metaphysics is obviously real and the soyish type of atheism is retarded.
>pussy is pussy
>life itself is disgusting, you just gotta embrace it.
I need to reiterate, it isn't about sex. I've talked about this with the ideology of the blackpill and looksmaxxing before, but it's just pure hypocrisy to be disgusted by the system and yet participate in it, to say "If you can't beat them, join them". Be the difference you want to be in the world, that's what I strive to do despite all of the suffering than can come with that.
>whenever I want to (((kill myself))) I always think of the joy of lying in bed
I do this too, but ultimately I always come out feeling worse. Hedonism and ignoring my problems isn't the answer, I have to exert my will and integrate the unconscious side of me.

Thanks for these words and your anecdote. I agree 100% that I do spend too much time in the clouds. I still do worry though, as some men really do die without ever being loved and that seems more and more likely in today's age the older I get. I can't plan for it as you've said though, so regardless of whether I get to experience it or not, it does me no good to dwell on it.
>Hold eye contact and she will look away, that's how you can tell. More points if you smile and she does it back.
I used to think that I would see her glancing at me and I would do the same, then usually one of us would look away. Months before I started trying hard for her attention she would also smile at me sometimes, so I thought maybe we were both just shy and harbored a crush. It's most likely that I misinterpreted this and was horribly wrong, either that or she got her boyfriend within that timeframe of inaction and that thought makes me want to off myself, but again, no point in dwelling on it. The fact is that this is over with. I wish I wasn't so romantically inclined, or really inclined to fantasize in general.

>Then again I am somewhat glad you got devastated that way you wouldnt be stuck in the loop of being a simp
I agree honestly. As soon as she brought up her boyfriend, I started backtracking in my head the steps that brought me here and I asked myself if I regretted it. I don't regret anything I did. Yes, I was devastated, but I would otherwise just keep suffering in my own head due to not having the courage to at least try. It's character development o algo. Despite my despair, I do feel freer now that I'm not locked in those thoughts of self pity and beating myself up over not doing anything. This outcome wasn't in my control, at least not entirely, and I tried. Also I don't know you're leaking over the fact that I leaked on the clitty leaking board geg

>I still do worry though, as some men really do die without ever being loved and that seems more and more likely in today's age the older I get.
I prefer to not believe this even if it could be logical. You're pretty young and so am i, even after this experience i had i managed to get a girlfriend, and you had a girlfriend too. I believe it as if you keep focusing on yourself, you will attract the person you would like naturally. Just keep exposing yourself as you do, and love will find you.

>I wish I wasn't so romantically inclined, or really inclined to fantasize in general.

For now it's understandable since you must feel disappointment, so i don't think you will be like this forever. With enough experience you will laugh at this in the future. If you actually engage in maladaptive daydreaming a lot you can get a journal and write your thoughts, OR don't take it that seriously. You can distract yourself with the first option or with another hobby, which will make you a more interesting person, thus more attractive.

Why do you suggest this? I don't see the practicality of this if I could safeguard my thoughts in my head without risking having them read. What's your perspective on this?

It's just a great way to express and iterate your own thoughts. It's a different feeling when you're actually seeing your thoughts written and not thinking them, so you can explore them differently and change your biases. If you don't want them to be read just journal alone when nobody sees and hide it

I may try this then. I will be going to work tomorrow and said coworker will likely be there, which in turn will likely make me frantic. I don't know what else to say for now really. I'm just hoping there aren't any consequences in my workplace environment from what I've done and I hope I can experience true love. I'm not sure if I could call myself an interesting person personally, but others seem to perceive me that way, albeit often at my detriment. I wouldn't call it an advantage for finding a partner, but I suppose I need to for finding THE partner.

I wish you good luck! Just don't overthink it too much, you'll have a long journey. And yeah every positive move contributes for you to find your dream girl, but also do it for yourself. You will make it 'teen
